CMAA is a fully dedicated United Taekwondo International affiliated centre. Formed in Cobh by two TKD practioners since 1984
and 1985 respectively.The club opened in 1999.The Cobh Academy practices a syllabus designed by one of Europes first black
belts (Karel Van Orsouw 8th degree). The UTI syllabus has introduced ancient Korean weapons, short-stick(dan-bong), long-stick(jun-bong)
and knife(dan-geom). CMAA has a fully equipped do-jang, which includes a multigym, crosstrainer, stretching machine and all
the standard TKD equipment designed to build champions.
